A short review on leptospirosis: Clinical manifestations, diagnosis and treatment

In the last few decades, leptospirosis has emerged globally as a fatal infectious disease. Yet, an understanding of pathogenesis continues to remain within grey areas scientific evidence. majority cases, infections are asymptomatic. The benchmark test for is microscopic agglutination test, commonly known MAT test. standard treatment oral doxycycline, although penicillin and azithromycin can also be used. this review, we aim elaborately discuss symptoms, diagnosis approved therapeutic regimen leptospirosis.
